5-Mile Radius Preference

Many families have asked us about the 5-mile radius (8.050 KM) preference and how we will generate such a radius. We have used a mapping tool to generate the radius to exacting measures. The center point of the radius is the school building, which will be located at 1000 French Street, Wilmington, Delaware 19801. The visual above shows the radius on a physical map of the area. (Of course, those living in New Jersey are not impacted because New Jersey residents cannot apply to Delaware public schools.) You can see that it encompasses quite a large area around Wilmington.
