FSMA donates leftover meals!
FSMA 8th graders have to design a project to better themselves or better the community as part of their curriculum. Each student works individually or in a team to see this through. Here is another example of the great work of some of our students. Thank you to Zephone, Liam and Da’aon for their help donating the left-over food from our food services program to the Sunday Breakfast Mission this school year. As part of their 8th grade “Journey,” the helped to to make a big impact on many people. These three students, with support from their teachers and our nurse, Becky, packed and delivered leftover meals to the shelter many times throughout the year. The final total for this year was…..698 meals delivered to the homeless!! It is a such a thoughtful project that made sure food did not go to waste and was used to help those who needed it most! Great job, Zephone, Liam and Da’aon.
