FSMA Student Support Resources
December is always an interesting/busy/hectic time of year (even when not in a pandemic) that is filled with many highs and lows. Now, with the need for parents to be supporting their child’s learning at home, while having to address the many other stressors that are coming forth as a result of this Covid-19 pandemic and the changes to our typical holiday season and feelings you might have about missing a certain event or not seeing a family member… and, wow, it is a lot!
All of these changes can be a lot to deal with and we just wanted to take a moment to remind everyone of some resources you have at your fingertips…
Our Student Support Team has created a page with resources for students and PARENTS! (Main page link – here)
Here are some topics you can find on the page to support your child now and as we return to school in January.
- Living and learning during a pandemic has created all different kinds of stressors.
- So many of us are experiencing Screen Fatigue. There is an article at the bottom of the page “Keeping Your Student Focused during Virtual Learning”
- Opportunities to engage outside the home continue to be limited. Looking for engaging activities both on the screen and off?
- Holidays during a pandemic – check out these ideas!
We are about everyone, students, staff and families! We hope these resources are helpful and if you have a topic you would like us to post information about, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
